What Is Normal?

God is really working in my life right now. I am trusting Him as I deal with "what is going on now." Yesterday I spend 1 1/2 hours with an eye specialist. I go back today for more testing. They promised me no more than 30 minutes. Then I go back in 2 weeks to meet with the doctor and get all the results. She is trying to decide is the nerves in my left eye are diseased or if my left eye is just abnormal. I told her she just made the right call. I know I'm abnormal so my eye should be too. We sure did laugh a lot during my time there.

This got me thinking on what is Normal. If I listen to that poor guy on TV yesterday it isn't being a Christian. He was going on and on about how you have to be stupid to believe the whole Noah Ark thing really happen. I turned the TV off an prayed for that man. Then I realized I didn't get the name of the movie he was promoting.

So to him I am not normal but then I thought he wasn't normal. So what is normal. I decided to look up a few quotos.

Normal is in the eye of the beholder. Whoopi Goldberg

The only normal people are the ones you don't know very well. Joe Ancis

'If there's a message to pass to people, I'd say that it's normal to be different from others, it's good to differ from one another, and we'd better look at ourselves first before we start criticising someone who looks, acts, speaks different or has a different skin colour. Unknown

Something that seems to be growing stronger and stronger in my thoughts is how this world is changing in what they are saying is the norm.
And they are not stopping to ask me if I am willing to join them in their thoughts...they are constantly pushing their views on me. If I don't know what the Bible says is norm for a child of God and refuse to step over the line...before long the line will not be visible in my life.
Isn't it funny that they say they are fighting for the right to believe what they want but then they believe I should believe what they believe or I am wrong. Bottom line..this world is a mess. A mess that will never be cleaned up until the new heaven and new earth arrives.
I will pray about your eye...let us know what they find out. Don't you love how God uses these situations to open our eyes to things? Life situations turn into everyday parables.
