Family Friday

It is Friday and I do feel like it is family time.

Mom, she is doing very well. I'm sure she gets lonely at home by herself. But you wouldn't know to talk to her. I do have a concern coming about her. Fall was Dad's favorite time. Mom has been back and forth about should she have Thanksgiving this year. We all offered to have it our homes but she says, "If Nikki is coming with the baby I want to have them." She sure does love her great grandson.

Our son came home late last night. I woke up this morning and saw his car in the driveway. It put a smile on my face. The visit will be short and it will go quick but he is home.

Amanda has been having tons of homework with college this year. It seems more than years past. She also start the community work she must do for class. She has to work with homeless or poverty people. She is helping with "Riverside" our churches program where they feed about 120 homeless people every Monday. She seems to enjoy it.

Nikki and Steve are doing well. Nikki says Ryan is walking around the furniture now. She thinks he will be walking by Christmas. Oh the joy and excitement of being a parent. Nikki is also going through allergy testing right now.

Hubby has been having headaches. We think it is from the dog taking up a big part of our bed. Kaci our dog has just started again going to bed with hubby. Hubby goes to bed first since he has to get up very very early in the morning for work.

I as you know am going through some things with my eyes. I had two days of testing on my eyes this week. I won't get the results till the 14th. My prayer is my eye is just abnormal. But if that is not the case the Lord has it in His hands already.

Our kitten Milo's paw is getting much better. He is back to his normal routine.

I am glad to hear that your Mom is doing so well. That is always a relief!
Your doggie sounds like our cat! Hugs Grams

Keith went through allergy testing about a year ago. He found out he is allergic to mold. So unless we are moving to Arizona....he will just have to deal with it.
How cool that your son came home for a visit...I'll bet there was a big ole smile on your face after this week. What a sweet gift from God.
And I am glad to hear that your Mom is doing good. I know this will be a rough time for her...maybe the distraction of getting ready for holidays and family will help her. I will pray for her.
And although it sounds funny to say....I pray that your eye is just abnormal too. :)
