Stealing Time With God

Last night I was talking with someone about about starting you day with God. If you can't start it at least make time during your day for God. Her comment was "When I go to the bathroom room for my morning routine of potty, wash face and brush teeth I STEAL TIME WITH GOD"

The first thing that pops in my mind is a little unusual. I think of my cat, Wil. You see we use to keep our toothbrushes and tooth paste in a container on the sink. Wil has taken to stealing my toothbrush! I would see the cat come running into the living room with my toothbrush and have to chase him around the furniture. I don't keep them out any more. Oh I hid the toothpaste now too Wil eats right though the plastic to get to the paste.

So I though stealing time with God isn't right. Stealing means taking something that doesn't belong to you without permission. Stealing is a sin. The wording of this just doesn't seem right.

You shouldn't have to steal to spend time with God. God should be #1 in your life and therefor be on your daily plan. If you have to go to work every day you just do because it part of your life. Well God is part of your life he should get time too. You have a few times each day you eat to nourish your body. Do you say I steal time for dinner? Well make time to nourish your spiritual body every day too.
