If you have children I'm sure you heard the question "Are we there yet?' This may have been asked on vacation trip or just a short trip to visit a friend. They just want to get to where they are going. Then sometimes you may have only been at your destination a short time and heard "Is it time to go yet?' Our reply is "shortly" or "just be patient"
Did you ever give thought to we do the same thing to God? Think of situations you many be in now or have gone through? You want God to hurry up and give you an answer. You try to do things instead of waiting on God's timing. You worry or say I can't handle this. You may say I know God doesn't give me more than I can bear but that is enough already! I'm ready to leave this time in my life.
Have you ever said to God, Lord give me patience NOW!
God has a different time frame than us look at what Psalms 90:4 says
For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.
So remember to wait patiently in the Lord's time not our. Have Christ has overcome the world for us and will be there for us.

As I read this I smiled to myself for I am feeling that way now! Sometimes when this life gets hard and painful we do-I do- cry out "Are we there yet?" I just want it to be over...I want to learn what I must and move on.
I think Pastor Time said it recently...sometimes we want the easy way, we want it to just be over and get on with life. But it's the process that is important. It's the process that God uses to grow us.
OH YES!!! Are we there yet? No, we are not for there is so much God desires to teach us....
