Family Friday Saturday

My days are all mixed up this week. Yesterday I thought it was Thursday all day. You must have those days too. I know a lot of people around here do.

Anyway Family Friday Saturday.

Amanda still has no job. She has applied online for some. Now it is time to go out and apply. She also has some problems with her teeth. It is bad because she will have to go to the hospital and have the surgery done there. We haven't set a date yet for that but I'll let you know when we do so you can be praying.

Our son is home and worked all week. He now plays softball with dad. He works long days in constructions so we don't see him much.

Hubby is still hurting from the softball that hit his leg but he won't let it slow him down. I can just see it when he gets up from a chair he is hurting. He worked six days this week. Then he has our yard work to do and my mom's along with what ever else she may find that needs to be completed.

I have been writing the opening for the vacation bible school I will be heading up for a week, when our church goes on a mission trip. I have done this for 3 years now. I love it. I was tossed a curve yesterday. I have 3 of the days written. Then I get an email they cut the time down from 2 1/2 hours to 2 hours. They forgot to tell me. I spoke with my contact down there and she is going to see if we can get the 1/2 hour back. If we don't I'll have to rewrite. I leave June 21st. so that doesn't give me much time.

Not must going on with Nikki, Steve and Ryan. Our youngest is driving up today to visit them for a few days. Ryan is just a good baby for them and they do enjoy him. Who wouldn't he is so cute.

Mom is doing good. She told me yesterday that rainy days are boring. She gets lonely. Today she was starting back going to Saturday morning breakfast. Her and Dad would meet my aunt and uncle every Saturday at the local dinner. They know most of the people there so mom wasn't ready to go back till now. I'm glad she didn't give that up.

That is what is going on in our family this week.

Sounds like you are staying busy.
I guess I missed where you are going on this trip?
We will leave the second week in June to go to TX to do a conference we do every summer. We do this with Mom and Dad and we have about 19-24 kids 2-5th grade. It is a lot like VBS only it is more intense and we have the kids a lot more. We have mission stories and Bible stories and we will be making a wooden garbage can for them to take home.
It is a busy week but the time is casual and laid back.
I hope you get your half hour back.....I know what goes into the planning.

I will pray that you get your 1/2 hour back so this won't be stressful for you. I will be praying for your daughter too! Every time I pray about Nancy like you it will bring Amanda to mind. I hope this all goes well. So happy your Mom is getting out and about. Have a great week!! Love and hugs Grams
