Let There Be Peace

Remember this: Let there peace and let it begin with me.
That is my focus this Christmas season. I will have many gatherings from Church to family to social events. I will be seeing people who may not enjoy my company. We may have some kind of conflict in our past. We all have people like this in our lives. This year I am going to be at peace first with myself. If that means saying I'm sorry so be it. I will forgive them even those who haven't asked. I will speak and treat them as I do everyone else in the gathering no matter how hard or uncomfortable it is. I am going to pray each morning for God to give me peace with all I come in contact to.

I need to remember People are to see Jesus in me. Jesus is Peace so I must be flowing with peace.

Romans 12:17-18
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

That's a great commitment to make. You can do it with God's help.
