Psalm 61:8

Psalm 61:8
Trust in him at all times, O people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge.

If you look back to my blog on 10/7 this was one of those verses I said I would comment on later from the Women's Retreat I attended.

How often do we think we are trusting God? I know I was with my surgery I had a peace and when my surgeon asked if I would like her to pray with me before we went into the OR room I knew God was saying "I am with you my daughter."

But that doesn't mean I trust God "at all times." I still worry when my son drives to and from college (6 hrs) late at night. He I.M. me once saying "It isn't my goal to die on the road."

What about do you stress over getting everything done you need to in a day? If you look back don't you see God will help you get finished what he wants you too?

Do you trust in the big and the small things?

God tells us to pour out our hearts to Him. He means tell ALL. Why do we stress over this? God knows all even if we don't tell Him.

Did you wonder why God wants us to tell all. I have a few thoughts on this.
When we speak our concerns they seem more real and we can't pretend to hid behind them.
When we speak our concerns we see more clearly. They will often make me say "I get it now." or "That sounds silly."

God is our Refuge.
Thank you and Amen!
I am glad God takes care of the situations. I would most likely make it a bigger mess. God is just so all things happen for a reason.

I am glad I am in God's will and he is my comfort and protector.
When I am wronged I know God will handle it I don't need to. When I do wrong I know God will forgive me and be beside me as I ask forgiveness to those I need to.
