The Ear Of A Fish

Did you know fish don't have ears as we know ears to be. They have internal ears. That is why They are so sensitive to noise. If you are a fishing person you may know what I mean. If there is lots of talking and loud noises the fish don't bite.

This got me to thinking. We have internal ears if use them. That is how God speaks to us. He uses our internal ear. It works the same way. If there is lots of noise we won't hear Him. If we are talking we don't hear God either. We need to be still and listen for God to speak.

James 1:22-25

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.

Good post girl....it is so true. Sometimes in the past I know that I have been busy just so I wouldn't hear Him. Sad because His voice is so sweet.
The pictures I post awhile back of the wedding....my niece studies fish in the area to see what is going on with them. One of the things she does is collect fish ears. The first time I heard that I had the funniest picture in my mind.
