My heart is a patchwork heart. You see it has many parts that have had been worn by hurt and pain. However, I have a God who tenderly patches my heart. He stitches each part delicately together. When a new part starts to wear out from life experiences God will patch that part too. I think a patchwork heart is so beautiful in many ways. It is filled with a colorful life. It has the touch of God handy work. I love to show off my patchwork heart. I know I can deal with life, God will sow me back up.
Each of our lives has had shame, fear, hurts, regrets.... But out God is great and can fill us with this great love that will over come what life brings us.
So enjoy life, get to know God better as He tends to you with His needle and tread.

Isn't it wonderful that He takes something worn and dreary and replaces it with something bright and beautiful.
What a great reminder that what we go through may feel like it is destroying us....but it is just an opportunity for our God to show how lovingly creative He is .
