Thankful Thursday

I know I said it before but I'm saying it again. I'm thankful for my friends both blogger and none who pray for me. When I think of the things that have happen over the past few day I know it is the prayers that are moving me.
When I think of my Daddy in Heaven I know it is the prayers of my church family.
About two weeks before Dad passed I ran into an old friend who I hadn't seen in about 2 years. She was asking about my Dad because for the last 10 plus years she has been praying for his salvation once a week. What a joy to know that and for me to share he gave his life to Christ.
Then I think of our friend Mark who God prompted to wake in the middle of the night and pray for Dad.

All this brings me to a question. Why are so many people afraid to share their prayer requests. Are they worried people will think less of them? Do they think that isn't something to bother others with? I don't understand it but I'm sure glad I asked for prayer requests.

My father's viewing is this evening and the funeral tomorrow. So my next few days will be the hardest in my life so far.

When I got up this morning I lifted you up in prayer. I will be praying for you and your family while you are going though these hard days. I pray that God gives you peace. Please give Sandi your comfort as you face this tonight and tomorrow. Wrap your loving arms around her. In Jesus Name. Love and a big hug, Grams

I'll keep you and your father in my prayers. We pray at least twice a day at my day job and we encourage prayer.
