Angel

It is with joy and sadness I write this. The Angel came and took Dad Saturday afternoon. He is now dancing with the Angels. This is something Dad would often see when he was 1/2 asleep. He would tell us he see a big football field (sports were never far from his mind) and lots of people in bright lights dancing.

Several family members have come to say good to him yesterday. His breathing was shallow and you had to listen to hear it. As we sat there the patio door swung open no one was near it. My cousin (a nurse) says the Angel is here. My uncle tried to close the door but for a very few minutes the door would not shut and then it just moved closed very easily.
I got up went over to Dad I could no longer hear his breathing so I motioned for my cousin to come over and she looked at him and we went out to the hall and called the nurse. We didn't want to frighten mom if we were wrong but we were sure he was gone. He was. He was so peaceful looking the room full of people didn't notice the change.

This will be a busy and emotional week. The funeral isn't till Friday. My Pastor, is doing the funeral. Dad's christian story is so amazing and will be a beautiful testimony to unsaved family members.

Thank you all for your prayers. Sharon at quite reflections I send my thanks for all your friends prayers too.

I heard about your dad via the Cornerstone prayer chain yesterday. I sent you an email earlier this morning and then read your posting for today. Your dad's story is a testimony in and of itself. His promises fulfilled in your dad's life. Praise to the Lord. Dad is indeed now dancing with the angels, worshipping the Lord.

How I praise God for the new birth your father had not long ago.
How sweet that our Father never gave up on Him.
How blessed he is now to be in the presence of the One we long to see face to face.

Thank you so much for giving us a peak into eternity when you told us of the angel coming for your Dad.
That is the truth of the awesome God we serve.
I know you heart is hurting. I will continue to pray for you and your family.
I pray that because of his testimony many will come to know our God as their Savior. What a legacy he will have.
Love ya girl
