I AM

I'm up early and don't have to be to the hospital till 9:00 with my hysterectomy scheduled for 10:30 so I spend some time reflecting on God's peace and resting in Him.

Knowing God is the key to peace and the filling of our every need. We discover God by letting him live in us and be who he is through us . When Moses asked God what his name was The Lord replied simple “I Am” He did not call himself “I Do” or I will Become or “I Can Be” or “I Go”. He called himself “I Am”

Author Steve Fry says “I Am” means
He is the ultimate goal
He considers the good of everyone else first
He has always been
Nothing is unknown to Him
He doesn’t have to prove Himself
He sees the beginning to the end

God simply is! There is no power beyond Him. There is no surprise. God is at rest He is Himself, perfect peace!

Inner peace is not something we get when we remove pressure and stress. It is allowing the “I Am” to live through you.

Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, [ Or Wonderful, Counselor ] Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

1 Kings 8:56
"Praise be to the LORD, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises he gave through his servant Moses.

Dear Sandi,

I found your blog from Kathy's this morning.

Just want you to know I will be praying for a "full recovery" from your surgery.

I had this done many years ago, and let me tell you, what a BLESSING it has been in my life.

You will feel so MUCH BETTER!

Blessings to you,

Susan
